A Message From Our Founder
Kim Raine – ADHD Educator, Coach, Mentor, Author & Speaker
Hey, I’m Kim, the author of Square Pegs – A Book of Self Discovery For Women With ADHD, the Founder of the Neurodiversity Training Academy, home of ADHD & AuDHD focused CPD and ICF accredited certifications, and the creator of The ADHD Business Collective.
I have spent the last 20 years running successful coaching businesses whilst studying mindset, behaviour and physiology. In 2018, one of my highly successful clients told me she was being diagnosed with ADHD.
My first reaction was utterly stereotypical.
“You can’t have ADHD. Only naughty boys have ADHD. You are far too successful!”
What followed was a journey that led to several of my and my own ADHD diagnoses! I wanted to study and consume everything I could about ADHD #hyperfocus. I was disappointed in the lack of UK accreditations and frustrated at having to look to the States for my certification.
With my coaching practice fully booked, no one to refer to and sick of people being offered little or no support other than medication when they finally did get diagnosed, I decided enough was enough. I already had coaches and therapists doing my programmes to help their clients, and so, in true ADHD style, I concluded I needed to be the change I wanted to see for my clients in the UK.
Hence, The Neurodiversity Training Academy. My first step towards a certified network of professionals able to empower and transform the lives of those living with ADHD.
